Holiday Markets for the Thanksgiving Weekend

As we roll closer to Thanksgiving, a plethora of Holiday activities and markets are popping up! From shopping to parades, tree lightings and more will have you feeling the Holiday spirit. 

Here are three Holiday Markets to satisfy the shopper urges while supporting local economies! 

Saxapahaw Holiday Market 

This annual market is super popular and diverse! The market has grown to encompass four locations within walking distance of each other. With over 60+ vendors, you are guaranteed to find something yourself and those on your list.

The market is Saturday, November 30th, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday, December 1st, 2019, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., in the village of Saxapahaw.

Bynum Front Porch Holiday Bazaar

November 30 @ 10:00 am – 2:00 pm

Free

Bynum Front Porch’s annual market will feature local artists with artwork, paintings, pottery, crafts, jewelry, soaps, spa supplies and more. A festive atmosphere holiday tunes as well as tasty treats, hot cider and Bynum’s famous chicken cracker stew make this a place to be! Money for table rental, t-shirts sales go to Bynum Front Porch’s educational grants for graduating Chatham County High School seniors.

NC State’s Annual Holiday Crafts Fair 

This annual event has now grown to two days over the holiday weekend! Featuring work from NC students, studio members and instructors, this market is sure to provide unique gifts as well as a chance to meet the artists. These handmade works by more than 50 of The Crafts Center’s local artists will represent a variety of media: clay, fibers, glass, jewelry, paintings, wood, photography, mixed media and more! Saturday, the fair will feature outdoor live music, giveaways, and food trucks: Fat Boys Kitchen, Crispy Gyoza and Bourbon Street Beignets as well as free refreshments inside. 

The Crafts Center, Thompson Hall, 210 Jenson Drive, Raleigh, on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019, from 10 am. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, November 24th, 2019, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Admission is $3 for adults, free for kids under age 10, and free for NC State students with ID.
