Chatham Artists Guild 2019 Studio Tour * December 7th, 8th & 14th, 15th

What is it this amazing Chatham County mainstay, you ask??

The Studio Tour is drivable self-guided tours of artists actual studios or shops. You will probably begin to notice all the red triangle signs throughout the county, alerting and diverting drivers to a studio stop. You will find a physical map at the Hub listed below or can download from the Guilds website online, the map lists the artists locations and signs are near and at each studio.

The tour was established in 1992, by the Chatham County Arts Council, to promote all the amazing artists located in Chatham County. It was so successful that the tour developed its own autonomy with a steering committee and became the Guild as to collaborate with other foundations and non-profits.

As you visit, you can expect to find arts and crafts for viewing and purchase as well as demonstrations depending on the artist and time of day. With so many artists spread across our large and lovely county this is a great opportunity to see the countryside but remember to plan for a bit of driving across the two days if you want a variety.

This is a great excuse to see the country, meet the numerous and diverse artists in our community as well as get some holiday shopping done early!
