I have been working on transforming my website from just a place to find listings into a resource for finding local businesses and things to do in our community, check out the business directory and blog section!
Why I do What I Do
A lot of people have opinions on real estate agents, as a profession, as they do on all professions. Some thoughts may be positive and others may be negative. I try very hard to leave not only my clients but all people I come into contact with through my profession with a positive experience. Part of that for me is creating a personal connection with these people. Real Estate to me is more than just the properties we deal with, it is the community that is created along with these transactions.
As someone who has made both small and large moves, I know that a move doesn’t just take place in your home. It is a huge transition finding new places to run your errands, events to go to for fun and mingling, and ways to get plugged into the community.
I am trying to be more than just your average real estate agent by building my website into a resource that has more than just listings.
I have been working on two newer parts of my website that can be helpful to people who may be moving to the area, have recently moved to the area or have even lived here and consider themselves a local.
For a few months now I have been working on blogging regularly with the intentions of providing a go to place for people to find things to do in and near Chatham County. These events range from family friendly occasions to adult only events for people 21 years old and over.
In the past couple weeks I have been working on entering businesses into the business directory on my website. There are categories that cover real estate related businesses like lending, insurance, inspecting and more to categories like gyms, post offices, restaurants, salons, places to stay and more. Many of the categories have sub categories that organize the businesses by location and so far I have tried to provide options in Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Pittsboro, and Siler City.
Help Me Help You!
Interested in things going on in our community but too busy with life to look into on your own? Let me know about things you are interested in and I will look into it and write a blog on upcoming events related to your interests! Same goes for the business directory, I want to turn it into a simple place to go to when looking for businesses. Have any ideas for categories that I could add? Let me know what would be useful to have easy contact information for.
