Join Bee Downtown and the NC Museum of Art as well as other pollinator-loving organizations to celebrate the creatures that sustain our ecosystem and food supply. Taste honey, take home seeds to plant your own pollinator garden, make art, and learn about the importance and conservation of pollinators. This is a family friendly event but will still be enjoyable for the singles out there!

The NC Museum of Art is full of events this weekend. At 10 AM you can join in Lights Out for Summer Solstice. This low key event is simply an excuse to kill the lights to enjoy the paintings the way they were intended- in all natural light.

Also this weekend is Museum Park Tours. This outdoor event is a 90 minute hike around the museum’s outdoor art exhibits. Taking place in warm weather, you will want to dress appropriately for this two-mile-long jaunt. Take in the convergence between art and nature.
