The 7thannual Pork Celebration will be held on Saturday, October 6 at 5:00pm at The Root Cellar in Pittsboro. Come on out to this relatively new venue in the up and coming Chatham Park Development space- Penguin Place. This pork based celebration will feature “tapas style” or small plate creations made with locally raised pork from Hickory Nut Gap Farm in Fairview, NC and Sharp Family Farms in Sims, NC.
This event is a partner with neighboring House of Hops, a new location for the regional family-owned craft beer retail store, who will be offering their beer specials just for this event. You can take advantage of the gorgeous inside bar and lounge area at House of Hops or the shared patio space as well as the casual dining in the Root Cellar.
In addition to tasty meat treats, this event will feature free live music, games for kids and adults and of course alcohol for purchase.
Tickets are $50 and include all food, entertainment and a souvenir pint cup.
