As the heat drags on, summer can feel like such a bore but the good news is there are still tons of summer festivals and events to keep you excited about the season.

August 25th-26th2018

Time: 9AM-6PM and 12:30-5PM

Location: Cary Town Hall Campus, 316 North Academy Street Cary, NC

Description:

Dating back to the 1970s, the annual Cary Lazy Daze Arts and Crafts Festival in Cary, North Carolina, is considered one of the largest juried art fairs in the country. The one-day extravaganza features dozens upon dozens of artists showcasing their talents in various media including: wood, sculpture, printmaking, photography, painting, mixed media, jewelry, glass, furniture, fiber/leather, drawing, digital art, clay. With various artists from NC as well as the rest of the south, this is a serious art fair with each media class chocked full of participants. Additional attractions include live musical performances, a kid’s world and concessions.
