Go(at) Spring?

If the winter weather has you dreaming of spring, what better way to soothe your winter bues than petting baby goats? In an ode to the spring days yet to come the Inn at Celebrity Dairy in Silk Hope will be having the first of their Open Barn Days. You can peruse the dairy, including the barns, cuddle with cute little goat kids as well as take in the beauty of the grounds and the Inn itself.  While the event is free you can purchase lunch and snacks at the Inn. Cheese products and Fudge and gelato available as well as Cud-zu Soap will be available for purchase. Local artisans are invited so additional products may be available for purchase.

In addition to the Open Barn Day, the diary will have goat yoga available. Yes, you heard that correctly- the newest in millennial agriculture fusion is here in Chatham County. Yoga therapist, Lindsey Alexander will lead a lighthearted all-levels yoga practice in an hour long outdoors practice that comes with a plethora of baby goats to leap about while you practice, then you are invited to get some lunch at the Inn and take home some Celebrity Dairy cheese and soap.

Because of the popularity of previous events, pre-registration is strongly recommended. Registration is $20 per participant, plus a small EventBrite service fee. Children over the age of 3 are welcome with an accompanying adult.

Please note these events will be held twice in February, on February 10th and Feb 11th and twice in March, on March 10th and 11th.

If you haven’t experienced the dairy before- The Inn at Celebrity Dairy is a rustic Bed and Breakfast outside of Siler City. It serves as both a bed and breakfast as well as a event center and working dairy farm producing cheese, candies, soaps and more.
