About the Course
Built in 2006, Chapel Ridge was designed by Bob Moore in collaboration with Fred Couples, Masters Champion and winner of fifteen PGA Tour tournaments. Educated in North Carolina, Moore has designed courses for decades both at home and abroad, including Manila Golf Club and Rajpruek.
Inspired by older, traditional United States courses, Chapel Ridge combines Moore’s knowledge of his home state with his international design experience.
The golf course features a fully stocked shop and a restaurant with burgers, sandwiches, and other bar fare.
Holes
Highlights of the course’s 18 holes include:
- Hole 5: Chapel Ridge’s first Par 5 ends with an elevated green. With multiple bunkers and a water hazard in the way, you’re forced to pick the safe but slow route or a risky shot over the left side.
- Hole 10: as one of two greens at Chapel Ridge not guarded by a bunker, Hole 10 rewards a carefully aligned shot up the fairway that avoids a tree blocking the green.
- Hole 12: a short Par 3, this is still a challenging hole due to a large water hazard and a slope at the back of the green.
