40th Annual Festival for the Eno * July 4 & 6, 2019 * 10 AM – 6 PM West Point on the Eno – Durham City Park – 5101 N Roxboro Rd., Durham NC 27704
If fireworks aren’t exactly your thing or if a local beer and some tunes are more your style than BBQ and watermelon eating contests, than head to Durham for your 4thfun!
Designed as a celebration of the mighty Eno River and plant and animal life, the 40thFestival for the Eno features over 80 bands belting out contemporary and local music, craft beers, local food and over 75 craft vendors. The festival for the Eno is in its 40thyear in an attempt to raise awareness and save the sacred lands, plants and animals that feed the spirit and purpose of the Eno River.
The Eno River flows through Durham and Hillsborough, rising in Orange County and converging with the Neuse River. It is protected by The Eno River Association, who are proud to bring you 60+ hours of music on 5 stages, plus booths of 80 plus crafts artists, cold local beers and other drinks, and the delicious offerings of more than 20 food trucks and vendors.Funds from the event, directly support the conservation of the Eno River watershed.
They are committed to providing as many educational opportunities as possible to the community about how it can join us in protecting and preserving the Eno and the environment.
The festival, while about the resources is also about the music from local and regional artists- some established and other emerging.
