Head to downtown Raleigh for the city’s annual celebration of diversity. This free family event will wow you with multiculturalism which is designed to increase cross-cultural exchange and promote respect between cultures. Admission is free. There will be lots of fun kids’ activities, and, of course, food and drink will be available for purchase.
Dance performances and bands will have your feet tapping as salsa, samba, belly dancing, hip hop, reggae, Irish and more are on the schedule. Even more important than the music and movement is the and food! Fine tasty treats from around the world are a guarantee you will find something that you like!
This is a very popular local event. Last year over 17,000 people attended so get there early to avoid the crowds and the heat.
