This Saturday, October 27th, welcomes the Town of Pittsboro Street Fair! This family friendly event will be from 10am-4pm on Hanks, Fayetteville, and W Salisbury Streets in downtown Pittsboro.
This year expect to see over 160 vendors from area non-profits, with activities for children and vendors selling everything from housewares to handcrafted arts and jewelry.
There will also be a vast selection of food and drink from local vendors as well as the suite of Pittsboro restaurants and shops open for your business. If you haven’t spent much time in Pittsboro, the shops are truly unique and interesting! Get a jump on your holiday shopping or purchase a little something for yourself.
Additions to this year from previous is consolidated parking. Attendees can park and ride the free shuttle from 10:00am to 4:30pm to/from the Alpha Install parking lot at 697 Hillsboro St.
A Chatham Transit shuttle will be running continuously and take just minutes to get you to/from the Street Fair. This eliminates the Pittsboro parking pitfall!
Other special events at this years event is an ‘Artists in Residence’ demonstration table where local artists will present their talents and crafts. Woodworking, 3-D Paper Art, Plen Aire painting, Sketching, and making Silver Jewelry will be presented!
For entertainment, expect to find an lineup of great local talent on the stages at Hanks and Salisbury street. For the kids, hit up the Kid Zone for music and fun for the family.
