Head out to the hamlet of Silk Hope for the 42nd annual Old Fashioned Farmers Days! This ode to past is a celebration of agriculture through time, highlighting all the skills and technologies that have evolved through the years. So, what will you expect to see? A myriad of events, demonstrations and shows. From old time ice cream making to plowing with teams of horses or watching an assembly of cloggers. Exhibits showcase all those old timey inventions such a steam engines, grist mills, classic cars and tractors and more. The grounds are also covered with vendors selling wares and tons of delicious food for purchase. For the kids there is a bounce house area, kiddie tractor pull and more!
