Hello to all of our fellow Fearrington residents! I hope that everyone is well! I wanted to take a few moments to let you all know what our beautiful community is up to this 4th of July weekend.
Come on out and let’s have some July 4th family fun!
Independence Day 2014 with Andrew Kasab
On the birthday of our nation’s independence, enjoy a wonderfully relaxing evening including the live music of Andrew Kasab and dinner from The Goat. Crack open a frosty beer and let the music, food, and great company float your worries away.
The event will run from 6pm – 8 pm and for more information on the delicious dishes that will be served by The Goat, take a quick look here.
Post-4th of July Relaxation
On July 5th, get ready for more summertime fun with soothing sounds from the live music of John Westmoreland. This event will also be held at the Roost and will be from 5pm – 8pm. Pull up a chair and enjoy.
The cafe next door, The Goat, will entertain patrons with extended hours to keep the good times rolling. There you can have a drink and grab some great food to round out your evening.
The Intrigue of Barnhardt
Once you and your family have wrapped up your 4th of July weekend festivities, come on out to McIntyre’s Books for a face to face with the incomparable author, Wilton Barnhardt.
The renowned writer will be presenting his latest masterpiece “Lookaway, Lookaway” and this is definitely an event you don’t want to miss. Whether you’re a diehard reader or a casual page-turner, this is sure to suit your fancy. It begins at 6:30pm and we hope to see everyone there!
Until next time,
