From the Hewitt Pottery Gallery
Art is beautiful and who can truly get enough of it? To that end, here’s what is also coming up in local Chatham County pottery news:
• Mark Hewitt has a show coming up in July at the Cooley Gallery in Leesburg, VA. The opening is Friday evening, July 11th, and the show runs until the end of the month.
• The Summer Kiln Opening is rapidly approaching and will be held the last two weekends of August. Dates are on the Hewitt Pottery website, and there will be more information coming regarding this over the next few weeks.
• SAVE THE DATE: The North Carolina Pottery Center’s 15th Annual Fundraising Auction:“Going, Going, Gone to Pots!” will be held at the Contemporary Art Museum (CAM) in Raleigh, NC on Saturday, September 20, 2014, from 5pm – 8pm. There are currently sponsorship opportunities, and the event promises to be fabulous.
